The conference allowed the project partners and the associated cluster managers as well as other stakeholders to get an insight into the strategies and structures of the Brandenburg metal cluster and the cluster initiative profil.metall as a part of Brandenburg’s cluster strategy.

Within the conference future strategies of innovative companies with special regard to their key-projects were introduced. Also strategies on knowledge transfer from universities for the application and implementation in the companies were presented and discussed.

In preparation of the conference representatives of the C-Plus project partners came together in Berlin and participated in the 6th Scientific Board Meeting and Steering Committee Meeting.

Moreover on the 22nd November the 2nd Meeting of the Cluster Manager Club took place. It was attended by the representatives of the project partners and by the cluster managers of the involved clusters in C-Plus. As one of the topics the question “what are the characteristics of a good cluster manager” was discussed. Therefore, the cluster managers shared first-hand experiences in the fields of cluster management, cluster organisation maintenance, support of the member companies and national particularities. Also discussed were the objectives of the Transnational Action Plan and the connections with the regional pilot actions. The question, if there are potentials for collaborations of clusters within the implementation and beyond, was followed up.
